Nike has created a unique Tyre for the Lexus UX. In the framework of the fashion Week in new York was shown the Lexus UX 2019 with a set of vintage tires in the style of Nike. An interesting project was created in collaboration between fashion guru John Elliot and the Japanese brand, Lexus. As they say the latter is “one of a kind UX”.

White tyres have such recognizable features as the iconic model of the Nike – white faux leather with embossed details. They are dressed in a set of 18-inch wheels Lexus UX.

“The world’s first Lexus UX has been designed and engineered for the city,” said Lisa Materazzo, Vice President of marketing at Lexus. “We wanted to push this concept even further, paying tribute to urban style: bus, inspired by the classic sneakers street style”.

One-time project artists Hassan Rahim, Matt McCormick and Yung Jake used a pair of sneakers John Elliott and Nike AF1 as his inspiration. Each artist created custom artwork and put them up for auction.

Proceeds from each set benefit Inner-City Arts organization located in downtown Los Angeles, whose mission is to provide access to arts education for disadvantaged young people.

This is not the first case when we see joint projects of car manufacturers and famous brand of garment. In 2013, Fiat and Gucci have created exclusive Gucci Edition 500 hatchback. In the past year, McLaren has teamed up with the legendary British brand Belstaff to create a new line of fashion accessories.

Lexus aspires to sell their disposable tyre Jordan, but probably there are some owners of fashion who want to take them home.
