In the US, another reliability rating of new cars is published. The pedestal among the brands occupied by Korean manufacturers, and the most reliable car among the new named Porsche.
Agency JD Power makes its rating by interviewing new car buyers about the problems that they had to face in the first 90 days of ownership. The result of the survey is the so-called "reliability index" - the number of problems in terms of 100 surveyed car owners.
The most problem-free brand, the current study named the Korean premium brand Genesis - the owners of cars of this brand noted 68 censure for 100 cars. The second place - for the brand Kia with the result of 72/100, and closes the triple Hyundai with a score of 74/100. The fourth position remained for Porsche, and the fifth for Ford.
At the same time, the study notes that among the specific models Porsche 911 collected the least complaints - 100 "nine hundred eleventh" had only 48 claims. It is claimed that this is the best result in the history of research since 2013.
The most modest figures in the rating were demonstrated by the brands Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover. The record for improving the satisfaction index this year was put by the Mazda brand: it managed to reduce the performance by 25 points at once.
Meanwhile, experts of the company JD Power note that the quality of cars in general on the planet is steadily growing. Improvements are observed, in particular, in terms of satisfaction with appearance, comfort seats and the like. The most problematic category is still the multimedia equipment of cars, but car owners are beginning to actively annoy and numerous driver assistance systems.
