2 New WhatsApp Possibilities Features

1. WhatsApp users will be able and allowed to share their Location

Users of the WhatsApp application were able to share information about the location on-line. This is reported in the official blog of the WhatsApp company.
Today, we’re rolling out a new feature that allows you to share your location in real-time with family or friends. Whether you're meeting up with friends, letting loved ones know you're safe, or sharing your commute, Live Location is a simple and secure way to let people know where you are. This end-to-end encrypted feature lets you control who you share with and for how long. You can choose to stop sharing at any time or let the Live Location timer simply expire.

"Geodata is a simple and reliable way to tell where you are. You can use the Geo Location data to meet friends, tell you that you are safe, or share your route, "the report said.

The developers noted that the Share of  the location is protected by end-to-end encryption. This allows the user to determine:

  • with whom he will share this information.

  • with one user or the whole group, and also for how long.

  • At the same time, you can disable the Share option of  Geo-location at any time.

To start sharing the Geo-location information, just follow these Steps:

  1. Open a chat with a contact or group.

  2. Click "Add", select Location.

  3. Indicating the option Share geo-location data.

  4. In the same place, you can set the transmission time of geo-location data.

  5. In the event that this information will be shared by several participants of the chat, their locations will be displayed on one card.

As expected, the new feature will appear in applications for Android and iOS in the very near future.

2. WhatsApp users will be able possible to delete your messages from others

The WhatsApp instant messenger has a feature that will allow you to delete a message sent to the shared chat by mistake. This is reported on the company's website.

However, the time for correcting the error is limited - this takes no more than seven minutes from the moment the message was sent.

To delete a message in the general chat, you need to hold your finger on the message, select "Delete" and "Delete from all", reads the instructions. After that, the group members will see the entry "This message has been deleted".

In personal correspondence, the message will be deleted only on the sender's device, but not the recipient.

For the function to work correctly, the sender and the recipient must use the latest version of the WhatsApp application for Android, iPhone or Windows Phone, note the company.
